5 Ways to Slash Body Fat

If you are desperate for ways to lose weight fast – it is up to you to make the changes and learn what you have to do to make it work.  Hence, you need to break a sweat to lose weight.  Although, it may be difficult at first, but if you allow yourself time to slowly add changes to your lifestyle, your fat loss efforts grow into you.

Whether you are using Fat Loss 4 Idiots, Strip That Fat or Warp Speed Fat Loss, you need to stick to it, and aim for long term results!  For sure, when it comes to fat loss, there are NO magic pills or a quick fix.  It takes effort, time and a willingness to make it happen everyday.

Below are 5 tips to always keep in mind -

1. Eat out half as much.  The average person eats out 4 times a week (now, that’s too many) – with fast food outlets the most likely destination.  Every meal away from home represents an estimated 1500KJ above what you would normally have at your own table – that’s a potential 18 pounds weight gain in a year.  So stay home and cook, and pack your own lunch for work.  Replace just 2 meals each week and you can lose 9 pounds annually. Hence the key here is to get organized and plan your meals in advance.  Not only can you lose weight, you’ll save plenty of money!

2. Think fiber – aim to fill half your plate with vegetables.  The rule here is – eat 5 serves of fruits and vegetables daily!

3. Keeping your weight down is all about damage control, not deprivation – who wants to go through life without a restorative glass of wine or beer, a few pieces of chocolate or some ripe, mouth watering cheese?  But slimming without sacrifice means making sensible choices – that is, knowing where to draw the line with what you eat and bumping up your incidental exercise to offset your indulgence.  Losing weight is about a mission to balance your food intake and maintaining your weight control – so taking a long term approach in these areas is the best way to guarantee lasting results.

4. Exercise regularly, and exercise hard using a combination of Interval Training and Compound strength training.  This kind of workout are far more effective for fat burning than the traiditonal cardio workout and isolation resistance training like crunches and bicep curls.

5. Make small changes everyday, and make it a lofelong habit.  To keep the weight off, you need to replace a majority of the old habits with the good ones.  So make it a point to include small changes like cutting down on one can of Pepsi, or going for a 30 minute walk after dinner.

So start planning, and make the necessary changes to improve your health!
