It’s an extremely cold winter nite. You have just stepped in from the blizzard, and your hands are cold to the bone. It is time to wrap them snugly around a sizzling cup of chocolate milk and get cozy on the sofa. But wait, something is definitely missing from this picture. You know what you want, but you just cannot quite put your finger on it. What you ultimately need is a hot roaring fire. Yeah, that’s precisely what I’m talking about. Now, with that said, I have to oppose. In my current home I enjoy a more traditional fireplace. I’m talking about the kind that burns real wood. These offer a great deal more if you ask me. Although I experienced the gas product initially, I still prefer the wood-burning fireplace. There’s just something about going outside and chopping your own wood, then stacking it up for the long winter months. Furthermore, when you choose a wood-burning fireplace, you get all the benefits of a real fire. This means you can roast marshmallows, and hotdogs. Maybe you are in the mood for smores. Not to mention you get that incomparable sound of crackling wood and whipping flames.
