Your best bet would be to fly to Oahu..then take the Superferry to Maui. The Superferry is a boat..kinda big cruise ship, that transport from Oahu to Maui. It’s like $39 and $5 off if you book 14 days (hawaiisuperferrry.com) in advance per person and takes about 3 hours. The view is spectacular. It take a longer but the experience is worth it.
So book your flight from where you’re at to Honolulu..then departing from Maui back home. Good luck

Superferry is a good option but it would probebly be cheaper to get a roundtrip ticket from the mainland to Honolulu and a roundtrip ticket from Honolulu to Maui. If you dont want to make the trip back to Oahu then you will need to book thru a travel agent.

I am going back to Maui next week…and we always grab an interisland flight to Oahu. Currently $38 one way…plus tax and junk. Good luck. Check out the Hawaii airline sites…

I would recommend booking a round trip flight to Honolulu, and then either book a round trip inter-island flight to Maui or take the Superferry. I’m not sure where the Superferry docks in Honolulu, but I would think it’s at the cruise terminal just north of Waikiki. And, it docks at the cruise terminal in Kahului, about 5 miles north of the airport. Note, though, that the ferry takes three hours and they only have one round trip scheduled per day (it leaves Oahu at 6:30 AM every day but Sunday, and it leaves Maui at 11:30 AM – and they recommend you get there an hour early – the gates to the terminal close 30 minutes before departure).
If you’re staying in the Lahaina area, you might look into flying into Kapalua airport, about 5 miles north of Kaanapali. They have puddle jumper inter-island flights and it saves you the one-hour drive each way from Kahului. They do have limited schedules through Kapalua, though. Otherwise, just go through Kahului.
Fares from Honolulu to Kapalua are all about $130 round trip including fees. Fares from Honolulu to Kahului round trip vary from about $90 round trip to about $150 round trip, including fees, depending on the time of day you travel (middle of the day is more expensive).
