So I’m going to Hawaii next week and?

So last year, I went to Hawaii for two weeks. I am an only child and went with my mom and step dad. There was a REALLY cute guy but I was too scared/nervous to even go up and talk to him. I’m going to Hawaii next week for a week and I was wondering what are some tips on getting to know people while on vacation with out feeling dumb or weird? I’m a teenager and you know how we can be…self conscious…hahaha :] any and all APPROPRIATE answers are appreciated

    ok so i’m born and raised in hawaii. One important thing to get across, is that Hawaii people are very kick back, very chill.
    if you see him again, and there’s a big chance you will because the islands aren’t that big - just, as we say, ‘chance um’. Just go for it.
    be polite, a little flirty - say hi and introduce yourself.
    or you could pretend to be looking for something - no doubt he’ll help you
