We want to go to Hawaii for 5 nights, where should we stay, and do?
pre-k teacher asked:
This would be a romantic vacation for my husband and I, we want to stay somewhere comfortable, but doesn’t have to be luxurious. Close to the beach or on the beach would be nice. we want to do as much stuff as we can in the short amount of time we have. We’ve never been so I need island suggestion, and hotel and activities. Thanks!!!

Hotels in Hawaii do cost alot, well more than what you would pay in the mainland. I would suggest looking up rentals, it would probably be cheaper, depending on what part you’re going to. go to craigslist.com and look for vacation rentals. If you go to iroquoispoint.com they have vacation rentals for cheap prices. There are houses on the beach, or a block or so away from the beach, well any house there wouldn’t be far from the beach, although it’s not the nicest beach on the island. If you are connected to the military in any way, then you could stay at the Hale Koa, they are usually priced okay. Other than that, you just gotta search around try travelocity or orbitz or hotels. As for things to do, I am guessing you are going to Oahu? Make sure you see the USS Arizona Memorial, North Shore (make sure to get shaved ice with the ice cream in the bottom!!), The waterfall, Ko’Olina Lagoons (if you want chill time at the beach to relax, this is a great place, the waters arent deep and it’s so pretty and relaxing, you don’t see anyone trying to surf there or whatever. go to google and look it up to get more info) Make sure you go to a Luau, the ones I liked best was Paradise Cove. There is so much to do in Hawaii. Good luck and have fun!!!

check out the hilton hawaiian village on oahu or the marriott wailea on maui. both are fantastic. if you do oahu, don’t miss pearl harbor and diamond head mountain and waikiki beach (which the hotel is on). on maui don’t miss the road to hana and mount haliakala volcano crater. and to cut through the deals, you should check out to book your trip. the site is an aggregator which means it takes offers from various online sites and shows you the best deals. good luck!

I’d suggest staying at either Oahu, or the Big Island (Hawaii). For hotels, check travelocity.com or expedia.com.
On what to do, definitely go to the beach, for one thing. Also, try scuba diving or snorkeling lessons, I hear they’re really exciting. Go sightseeing. Depending on which island you stay at, there are different unique activities. Good luck, and Aloha!
