Where are you going on your honeymoon?

southern Fla is tropical, even in May. How about Miami, or the Keys? It’s off season and not the rainy season yet so you might get some good deals.

We have 2 places in mind. I am a history major, and I am really into World War II, so I want to go to Germany and visit some old castles, plus he is a car freak and loves German cars, and he wants to drive on the autobahn. We are also thinking about the Figi islands because I am a total beach person as well. My aunt and uncle both work for United Airlines and can get our airfare for free, just taxes to pay!

well how much are you looking to spend? we went to the Bahamas – we did 7 nights in an all inclusive resort that included all food and all drinks including alcohol. with plane tickets and everything it was about $3500.

Puerto Rico, its beautifull, a us territory so you dont need passports and money wise its more or less the same as in the states

we are still deciding but because we live in somewhere tropical already (singapore) we are thinking of skiing in the french alps! or something along those lines…we are both very adventurous so this sort of thing is great for us
i really recommend the caribbean, my friend had her honey moon there and she said it could not have been more perfect

In my case, my fiance and I chose not to do a honeymoon. Problem solved lol
I really don’t know much about deals though. Ask around local people at your work or something that may have gotten deals.
We’ve all seen the adds for places like selloffvacation.com and travelocity, i have no idea if they’re good though.
And if you’re a bit of a risk taker, I know my brother has done this in the past, but I don’t know the details of how it works : Basically he phoned up the airline about a week in advance and said “i want to go somewhere warm”. They guarantied him 2 tickets at a discount price, only thing is that he didn’t get to choose the destination. It was guaranteed to be a resort in either Mexico, Cuba or some other warm place (basically whichever place had the most seats on the plane or rooms leftover at the resort). He was quite happy in the end. (and yes i forget which place it ended up being). Also I would say that you don’t be too picky about star ratings of hotels. My cousin went on honeymoon in may of this year and stayed at a 3 star resort and it seemed very nice, she was very happy. It had fresh food, several all night restaurants, bars, nice pool, room overlooking beach, etc.
